Hey there everyone!!!
Today my post is going to be all about the various aspects of how an outsider would see this place. Okay.. so as we moved ahead with our research and as we were digging in more and more deeper. We thought that we would not be able to gather any information regarding anything and the guides and everyone would be reluctant to open their mouths and give us any kind of information regarding this place, to our surprise people we friendly and more than happy to share any kind of information related to this place.
But ofcourse you have to abide by the rules and regulations that need to be followed no matter what.
Like you cannot click any kind of pictures of the person who is giving you the information. Neither can you film any kind of videos about the aforesaid.
There is a heirarchy system like it is there in any kind of organisation where there is one head and there are people working under him/her.
So the hierarchy goes something like this...
THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS- They are the top authorities, they supervise everything. Anyone in the organisation come to them if their problem(s) is not solved at lower levels.
THE CURATORS- These people have a very demanding job. They work really hard to collect all kinds of information whether it is tangible or non-tangible. They are the ones safe-guarding the documents and records which are perishable and recording them digitally. They have a tideous job to handle. They gave us information on the books, paintings and sculptures which were gifted by the people to Mr. Nehru which (if you visit) is on the second floor gallery.
THE GUIDES- They are the ones who guide you (if you ask for them) right from the entry point of the bhavan. They have good amount of knowledge and help you with most of the questions.
THE OTHER PEOPLE- They are constantly looking and moving around the place and help you with the basics like the directions and other related informations.
CLEANING STAFF- They are almost always cleaning the area and keeping it as clean as possible. You can also find electricians and and other staff members.
So these are some of many people that we just got to know who are working in this huge organisation.
