Hey there everyone! I hope you all are doing fine so as we proceeded to our next module we were this time given a place for research. So this time around what we had to do was that all of our batch was given a place for research which had to be done in groups of four to five people (and no we didn't had the privilege to be with our friends) so the learning outcome of our module was all about working with people who we don't know well enough and of course how to work in groups. Hey there everyone! Today we will be talking about the other areas which surrounds the Bhawan and those are The Nehru Planetarium, Kushk Mahal and Nehru Memorial Library. So will talk about Kushk Mahal first.... KUSHK MAHAL So this mahal was originally a shikarghar (hunting lodge) which was constructed by emperor Feroz Shah Tughlaq (A.D. 1321-1414) who was then the emperor, the rubble built structure has three open bays containing arches supported on typical stone pillars. It is in line with an embankment (bund) which was built to retain the water flowing from nearby higher areas. It seems to have been us ed as a shikarghar or hunting lodge. It is now a place which is hidden in the dense forest kind of a place but still restored as it is and is accessible through long flight of stairs. THE LIBRARY The library is a place for history and politics lovers. The library has books on modern India. The Nehru Memorial Museum & Library ( ...
